There are two King bed suites available for that special evening. The other 37 standard rooms are anything but ?standard?. Most guest rooms have either a queen or king bed, or two double or two queen beds. There are several suites comprising of two bedrooms with one private bathroom which is ideal for families. There are just a few rooms with one double bed for our single travelers. All the rooms are non-smoking and have a telephone, alarm clock-radio and a hair dryer. Most rooms have two easy chairs, a desk and duvet bed coverings. Free Wi-Fi access is available in the bedrooms and throughout the Inn. Each room has an individual window air conditioner during the warmer months.

Onsite and Local Activities:
Over the years Brandon has become a favorite venue for Weddings and the Inn hosts many beautiful receptions in all four seasons. The Inn has spacious, comfortable public areas including inter connecting dining rooms with a capacity for 200+ guests and a celebrated Chef/Innkeeper to provide the delicious food.

The landscaped grounds offer an in-ground pool, a patio/kitchen garden and wide lawns leading to the Neshobe River which all make the perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony or backdrop for photos. The ballroom with its floor to ceiling matching mirrors and hardwood floor is an elegant choice for an indoor ceremony and for dancing later in the evening.

Area Attractions:
A stroll out the front door of the Inn brings you to our compact downtown. Browse and buy from a variety of small privately run shops and galleries from antiques, gifts, to fine art and artisan crafts, to name brand clothing, toys and books, all within a short walk. There are also several parks, two with waterfalls. The farmers market sets up on Fridays from Memorial Day to Columbus Day, and the Town Band plays on Monday evening in the Gazebo in Central Park.

Brandon has 243 buildings on the National Historic Register. The self guided Walking Tour available at the front desk will whisk you back a century or two as you meander through our tree lined streets and discover our architecture, history and some of our colorful former residents. Steven A Douglas, nicknamed the ?Little Giant? was born in Brandon in 1813. He was a candidate against Abraham Lincoln and is best remembered for the famous Lincoln-Douglas debates. The Douglas home and birthplace is now The Brandon Museum and visitor center.
