Close to Putney School, Landmark College, Basketville, and other Putney landmarks, the Copper Kettle offers two comfortable rooms on the second floor of an old home. Each guest room has a private bath, wireless internet, heating, air conditioning and satellite television. Adjacent to the Copper Kettle is the Vermonter Candy Shop where peanut brittle, walnut crunch and cashew brittles are made from an old family recipe including maple syrup. Next to the family kitchen, our breakfast room has a northern view of our back lawns and the border with Ridgeview Stables. A table for six seats all our guests. We serve only organic coffee from Vermont coffee roasters ? regular or decaf. Regular tea, decaf tea, or herbal tea is also available as well as juice. Guest Room One, has a queen bed, two chairs, a dresser and a small closet. Two windows provide views of The Vermonter Candy factory and the back lawn, bordered by Ridgeview Stables. A private bathroom with a shower, air conditioner, wireless Internet access and cable TV is included. A small refrigerator for chilling beverages is also in the room. Guest Room Two, has a Queen size bed, a twin bed, a wooden chair, a large living room chair, a dresser, and a small closet. Two windows provide views of the sunrise over Bare Hill and the back lawn, bordered by Ridgeview Stables. A private bathroom with a shower, air conditioner, wireless internet and satellite TV is included. A small refrigerator for chilling beverages is also in the guest room.

Among the exhibits featured at the Museum are mounted specimens of over 600 native New England birds and mammals in 100 small dioramas, one of the largest collections of its type in the Northeast. During the warmer months there is a demonstration working bee hive, a live spider and insect collection, snakes and regional flowers.
