Whistler's Inn is a beautiful gilded age mansion overlooking Lenox. Surrounded by gardens and giant spruce trees, the inn is located two blocks from the center of Lenox. All of the guest rooms are elegantly decorated, furnished with antiques, and they all have private baths. Morning light streams through leaded glass windows in our baronial dining room where a full breakfast is served each morning, featuring a variety of pastries, including other hot and cold dishes. Our library is a popular place to meet other guests, where they can sit and chat with their friends, or simply relax and enjoy a complimentary glass of sherry. One can always find a quiet spot at Whistler's Inn to read a book in quiet solitude. Surrounded by antiques, one easily feels as if they were experiencing the gilded age. Step out onto the veranda, and the perfume of lilacs permeate the crisp fall air. Gardens still abound, and the forests beyond the stone wall can lead you to what was once known as the sunken Italian garden. |
